2019 Johnny Bench Golf Classic

Join Hall of Fame catcher Johnny Bench for a day at PGA National on the Champions Course, home of the Honda Classic. Located in Palm Beach Gardens, this majestic course was redesigned by Jack Nicklaus in 2014 and features the ever demanding "Bear Trap" on holes, 15, 16, 17. Included in this event is a full round of golf, event souvenir, cart service, an open bar happy hour, and dinner reception with silent and live auctions.


This will be a shotgun start at 1:00pm with registration and driving range open in advance. Club pros will be available for a clinic before tee off and will be along the course for opportunities to fundraise and improve your score. Each foursome will have a team picture opportunity with Johnny Bench along the course. Carts, food and beverage service will be provided during the full time of play. 


Following the golf portion of the event, there will be an open bar cocktail hour before our dinner portion at the Member's Clubhouse. Dinner will feature live entertainment, a silent auction and a live auction. At the conclusion of the day, golfers will receive souvenir bags with golf accesssories, and autographed baseball from Johnny and other promotional products from our sponsors. Helping educate and employ kids with disabilities.

Believers Academy is dedicated to ESE students aged fourteen to twenty-one who are at risk of dropping out of their schools due to persistent lack of success in that environment. The main goal of Believers Academy is to reduce reading and math deficits while building vocational skills. Each student will obtain and maintain employment. Through these accomplishments each student will increase their self-esteem and become a productive citizen.
